There are so many things I would tell you if I thought you would listen or believed you would understand.

Every time I go out with a group of girls, the conversation always turns to either my being single or me wanting to “save myself” til marriage. On Thursday I went to breakfast with Stephanie, Bella, and Bella’s sister Sidonie and they all made it very clear that they believed my decision was completely unrealistic because no guy is going to want to stay with a girl who isn’t going to put out. While Stephanie believes a guy will stick around until I’m ready, Sidonie qualified that I’d better be ready within 4 months of dating said imaginary guy.

Day 13 - Favorite group project

Being completely honest: Fuck group projects. I hated them all. I ended up doing all of the work in every single one of them because everyone in the entire world is completely unreliable.

Day 12 - Hardest you ever legitimately studied

Tie. Freshman year in Pre-IB World History, my teacher would give us the world’s hardest tests. They were only really hard because we hadn’t found the secret to passing his tests - which was basically completely disregard the powerpoint and pay attention to what he says. He would test us on the most trivial things. Like once in class he simply mentioned “Do-Re-Mi” from The Sound of Music and on the test he asked us to write the freaking lyrics. I spent the whole second semester studying every detail of his lectures just to get an A. Eventually, I was successful.

This year, we had to do Individual Oral Commentaries (IOCs) which is an assessment for IB. Basically, there were like 20 poems to choose from. On the day of your examination you would randomly pull a poem from the file cabinet. Once you’ve chosen, you’d have like 20 minutes to come up with a thorough commentary/analysis of it and then you’d have to provide an oral commentary of it. I studied these poems so hard. I did whatever I had to do to get into the twisted minds of Sylvia Plath, John Donne and Robert Frost. Overall, it paid off.

The end of my high school career!

OFFICIALLY A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE!!

I’ll be hibernating for the next 2 months.
Then come August 3, I’ll be calling Auburn home. I can’t wait. War damn eagle!!

Graduation tomorrow.

I will finally be ending my long and tumultuous relationship with the Palm Beach County School District. Good riddance.

Now, hopefully my mother doesn’t try to ruin my plans with my friends tomorrow night.

Lol, my friend Tristyn made another video.

When you get an A, it’s for awesome. When you get a B, I’m going to beat you. When you get a C, I will cut you. When you get a D, you will be dead. When you get an F, you will not be found.

So true of ALL Caribbean households.
